Are you an experienced advisor with an interest in mortgages, savings, pensions, and insurance? Are you a positive and driven person who wants to make a difference in customers' financial lives? Then this is the right position for you!
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Mortgage Advisor, you will guide customers through the entire mortgage process, from the first contact to the final agreement. You will be responsible for analyzing customers' financial situations, presenting suitable mortgage options, and ensuring a smooth and transparent handling. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues and other departments to deliver the best possible customer experience. In this role, you will provide financial advice to customers and potential customers via phone. Within the service area, you will respond to our customer's special inquiries, which requires broad banking and credit knowledge as well as good familiarity with the bank's digital channels. You will advise clients and provide assistance or book customers with specialists for more complex matters. The first weeks of your employment will be focused on training.

The mortgage market has long been on the rise for both private and corporate customers, and with this, the demand for professional, precise, and engaged mortgage advice has increased at a high pace. Academic Work is now launching an initiative based on this:
- Paid SwedSec license in mortgages, conducted through self-study over approximately 50 hours (distributed over about 1.5-2 weeks).
- Initial well-planned introduction where you will get to know the entire loan business, from consumption and car loans to mortgages and deeper advisory.

Working Hours
Mon-Thurs 07:45-18:45 (45 min break)
Friday 07:45-18:45 (45 min break)
You will work either morning or evening during these times.
The first weeks will focus on training, and the following working hours apply:
Mon-Thurs 08:30- 17:00
Friday 08:30-16:45
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
In the role of advisor focusing on mortgages, you are the face of our client's private customers. With phone and email as your primary tools, you actively work to offer help with all types of credit-related questions as well as advice regarding personal finance and housing.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has experience working in a service-related role, where the phone has been your primary tool.
- Has an easy time understanding new systems.
- Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the language is used in daily work in dialogue with customers and in documentation.
- Has an interest in finance and credit.
- Can dedicate approximately 50 hours to self-study during the SwedSec training, which concludes with a test where a passing result is required to start your employment.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Swedsec Advisor License.
- Swedsec Mortgage License, or you can be offered this through training with us at Academic Work.
- A university degree and at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience, such as customer meetings at a bank, credit management, insurance companies, or work as a broker.

Other Information
- Start: Recruitment is ongoing, and the training within SwedSec Mortgages will commence as soon as the client has made a decision after the interview. The start date will be planned immediately when the training has begun and the planned training and testing schedule has been communicated.
- Scope: Full-time, varying working hours.
- Working Hours: The customer center's opening hours are between 6:45-20:30, every day of the week except public holidays when the office is closed. You will have the opportunity to some extent to influence which days and times you work.
- For this position, a credit check will be required, and you must present an extract from the Police's criminal record, which can be ordered from the Police's website!
